DOCTOR OF EDUCATION DEGREE

(EdD)

The Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership (EdD) program is designed to provide advanced study in school, district or state leadership, a unique focus among doctoral programs. The program provides a pathway to prepare Pre K-12 school practitioners to become practitioner-scholars and to serve in a variety of leadership positions. To accommodate your status as a working professional, the program will use an online hybrid delivery system with some synchronous  Zoom meetings.

Graduates will be prepared to generate and apply research leading to new instructional programs, curriculum improvement, policy changes, and organizational development that supports effective and just school districts.

  • Application of knowledge to current school problems
  • The culminating doctoral applied research study focuses on examining and addressing a problem of practice in Pre K-12 education.
